I must be a moron because I can't figure this puzzle out and no one else on this board has mentioned it.

It's the one with the big block and the glowing floor (one of which is orange, which I enabled by a pressure plate back in one of the locked cells).

On each face of the rock there is the rune resembling the one you use to cast 'shock'.

I've tried casting shock on the rock and the squares around it but nothing happens.

I must be missing something obvious but can't figure out what.
