Grimrock

Hello,

it's been a year since I last played Grimrock and it seems that I have an obsolete version of the game. Namely, the first release version (1.13).

What is the easiest way to patch the game to its newest version? Can I do it directly or do I have to go through all the previous versions first? And how do I proceed? I bought the game from Almost Human.

PS. "One year and no Grimrock?!?", you ask. Well, my first son decided to enter this world about a year ago, so I had to something else to do than Grimrockin'...

Found a way already. And it was so obvious.. Even my old savegames work! Huzzah! ..but my mage has become obsolete because I can't remember ANY of the spells

In your place I would start a new game

The most straightforward way to update the game up to the newest one is to visit your download page (on GOG.com or the humblebundle.com link you got when you purchased the game) and download and run the installer. No need to uninstall in between and this works for all versions.

Hello all! Sorry, but i must ask you again how to install the patch 1.1.4 . If i read right than i must download the game again? I bought it from this Site and i dont know how to get it. You are right that download fromm GOG or other Site was easy but from your Site its much harder. Or I just stupid.
Hope you understand my badly english.

Downloading again and reinastalling is the most simple way to update to the newest version from any version of the game. You can visit the link sent to your email to redownload the game (if you've lost the mail, you can resend it with the key resender)

Another way to update is to use the patches but to get to the newest version 1.3.7 from version 1.1.4, you need to download and install three patches. You can download the patches here.
