Dear fellow modders,
quite a few players are struggling with "Rite of Passage" dungeon.
So far I'm only answering questions for situations where they got stuck, but that doesn't really give me any feedback on whether the pacing is good, how they move through the dungeon, where they look first/second etc. It will be painful, but I've somewhat accepted I'll have to rework the level design and/or texts etc. where players struggle most.
If anyone could test it and provide a deeper feedback, that would be awesome. I'm willing to return the favour, of course.
The dungeon has 4 main floors (or hubs): 1, 2, 5 and 9. The floor between them are "supporting" (you get to these if you fall through a trap door, or you just walk through it on your way down). At the very start of the dungeon, there's a corridor on the left which has teleporters leading to the beginning of each of these "hubs", and you don't need anything* from previous floors to solve these.
Floor 9 ends with a really big "boss fight", which may be too tough for those who just jump there -- please import a level 10 party if you intend to do so (that's the level you'd get by playing through)
So if you only have 1 hour to play, feel free to pick a floor (by writing a comment) and jumping directly to it - still much appreciated.
*) With the exception that if you don't go through the whole dungeon, you won't have treasures, so floor 9 may be slightly confusing, as it refers to your treasures.
There are quite a few innovative ideas in the dungeon and I'll share the source with the community once fixed.
