The very last battle

uff ... i Hate this... maybe...
i take away the 4 items....
but then....
maybe 40 - 80 at the undying ... no more is possible...i am dead...
i run away threw the portal ... eat thome...and again...and again....
... for hours ...
is there a trick? i have no air mgic...... only fire and ice .....
edit ... i"ve got him ... three more smashes....cant"t believe this.... and he was history.... ... boah.... nice but heavy game
...
... i forgott the firwe sword... thats it

Well, there's a few options for ya:
1)
Don't get crushed to death by the giant cube
2)
Since you can't get in melee range, ranged/spells are your only option
3)
The Ancient Weapon still works even after you've disabled it!
4)
You DID disable it, right? If not, you need to remove the upgrades you provided to it
5)
Zap it with the Ancient Weapon, and remove each item (4 total) that you placed on the Machine earlier
6)
Okay, still having problems? There's a VERY simple way to beat this guy, actually
7)
After each time you zap/shoot him, jump down below into the Cemetary. You can rest and teleport back up between the fight

Just to say you can save at any point. I saved after every piece was removed, winning was inevitable.

After I had disassembled the cube (removed the 4 parts), it was very easy for me to kill (on hard mode)
Didn't even need any pots or pitjumps. Took about a minute tops.
That's how I did it:
Use the following weapons:
2x Lightning Rod (get the 2nd one with a key on level 12)
1x Frost Bombs (hope you saved a few)
1x Weapon of Power
With these weapons, the cube will take 12-13 hits in total before it goes down ^^

There's something that will help and no one has mentioned it.....
Don't fight the monsters that spawn during the battle and lead them to get smashed by the cube.
If you are having trouble with spoiler number 4 above you might try loading a save before putting in the last piece. Take a good look and remember which face needs to get clicked where. To me that was the most annoying part of the battle.
