What would have been cool in LoG.

Just imagine if the dungeons were devoid of light, no illumination but that of your torch.
Of course there would be torches scatted about on the walls but you would have to find them and light them yourself.
Just imagine how spooky that would be.

I'm considering avoiding the light spell and such in my current play through, the current torch flicker is very atmospheric and when it starts going out it really adds to the atmosphere!

I agree that it would be nice to be able to light (or extinguish) the torches in sconces, particularly if this was possible with a fireball I would also like to see how it would look to have the party carried torch emit the same color of light and create shadows in the same way as those on the wall.

They really should play with llight effects more in the future.

Imagine when you first encounter a Goromog, there would be this evil gust of wind that would extinguish all lights, torch and magic.

You descend into some ancient tomb and as the undead start to rise, your lights go out...
