Level 10 West metal door

Level 10 West metal door

The two solid (bronze?) metal doors near the stairs. I've (I think) completed everything in the eastern section, but can't figure out how to open the west door. Any help?

Notice the alcove next to the iron door. Think of what you did if alcoves earlier in the level.

The second one isn't opened from this side. I suspect I know why you're stuck but don't want to spoil a secret... ;D
