Fix movement, try #2

Post by shiffd »

Moving in this game varies PC to PC.
the difficulty of this game goes way up for me, and I have 2 gigs of RAM and a good graphcix card and CPU, new computer (about 1 or 2 years old model). Why the game works so tweeky for me, is unknonw. I play most games at max settings. Putting everything to low I was able to do some puzzles, but I am stuck again, basically because I can7t move sufficiently, too clunky of movment. Watching Youtube videos I can see that successfull users game moves much much better for them.

This needs to be fixed inhouse by the devs. we need more control on settings more performance and/or a way to slow the agme down, call it cheating if you want, but as is, for whatever reason, this game is IMPOSSIBLE on some PCs.

Please fix it, and in the meantime lets pile up advice on ways to adjust settings to make this wacked out game actually fun to play and not a nightmare. How stupid to base completion and difficulty on people's individual graphic performance. GRRRRRRRRRR

Well I don't think that was a design choice :) It's unfortunate but I'm sure AH is on it and will have optimizations planned for the next patch (after today).

Unfortunately any game you will play that requires timed events will be more or less difficult depending if your game has a graphic "Lag" I suggest you to turn down some of the Graphic settings during some of the puzzles to have a easier go with them, that's how I handle those issues.

If the lag is something within the game itself, rather then the Computer having to many graphic details like "Dynamic shadows" to be calculated, the Developers will sure get to fix the issue ASAP.

Ever since lv 2 teleport I have had my in game settings and res turned all the way down and now have no problems with puzzles, but it looks crappy.
Maybe one day I'll get a big boy computer but I am enjoying this game none the less.
The FORCE is with me!!!
