Simple answer yes ... the "Point of no return" in the game is VERY obvious

Once youve put the last of the 4 items onto the cube riggghhhtt at the end, then you cant backtrack anymore, your stuck in the arena
Yummy, more baked maggots ... bah, give them to the mage ...
