visiting locations

i got stuck on part of grimrock 2 so i looked on legendofgrimrock2.com , is the map list in the order that you should visit places .
if this correct i have missed some locations out.

Most of the walktrough-maps are showing all parts that can be discovered. It is not nessecary to get everywhere to, to finish the mission.

What you just really need is to find all power-gems.

thanks thom , 1 more favour , some forums say only just enough gems to complete the game , some forums say extra gems in game in case you miss some , do you know how many there are

well - concerning LoG2, there are exactly as many gems there as you need for the whole mission...

I'd like to clarify the number of power gems thing.

There are 20 power gems in total. You only need 16 to "win" the game, but you need all 20 to get the "true ending".
