I have no idea where to go from here
I'm struggling with the skulls in the mausoleums as i'm not getting any of the combinations right turning them in the right direction.

Hi Pompidom,
Regarding the skulls in the Crypt:
As you come across these skull pedestals you will notice that some of them have a pullchain nearby. Imagine that when you pull the chain a laser shoots out from the skull in the direction it is facing. The laser can pass through walls and any other obstruction. If the laser hits another skull, it will turn in the direction that skull is facing. If the laser hits a door, the door will open. In order to navigate the Crypt you will need all 4 mausoleum keys.

i play this mod again with shayla
its totally different.. now i cannot find the skull key for the boss on the graveyard.. i forgot where i found it on my first yourney with rynulf..

The key is located in the Crypt, in the area accessed by the Southern entrance.

also new is the message with the number sequence 41432 and what to do in the workshop??
and a new level, main entrance there is a glyph extra on the ground?? and later there is a strange graphic flikkering on the ground...

Hi hansbleeb,
I'm not sure what you mean by "glyph extra on the ground", there is a 4th glyph now, there were only 3 in the previous version.
I found the "strange graphic" you referred to, I accidentally doubled-up an edge near the water, thanks for letting me know.
Number sequence hint:
This is a clue needed for the Courtyard map.
Workshop safety tips:
The objective is to find 3 keys and use them in the North-central area of the level. Throughout the map you will come across locked doors with button pads and other mechanisms that you will need to figure out the combinations for. All clues for the Workshop can be found within the Workshop, and all clues are part of the environment.

in the workshop i have the first key,, open the doors with 1 blue light. (a lot of angry crabs came from everywhere ) i destroy the crabs but i am stuck now with the sound puzzle ! i can see the second key beneath the magic forcefield but i push the sound buttons in many ways try to push them very quickly, but no result.. .. some sounds i recognized as a spell sound but the short sounds i dont know where they came from.
i like the new workshop level !! with the endlevel graphics from grimrock 1.. the new level down in the crypt i dit not visit yet, i missed 1 orb to open te door thats for later!.and the courtyard i must figure out the route. the poison plant is he destroyed with a weapon .? every weapon i tried gives 0 damage. . does the laboratory also exist in the new update? ?? now i cannot passed the entrance under water and the teleporter with the book of passage i dont see it anymore. after place the book. .. maybe i forgot something or i doisomething wrong,but i have the 4 th skeleton key already and i remember that i found that key in the laboratory in the old version..

You will be able to access the Laboratory after you complete the Workshop. The teleporter entrance to the Lab has been removed in this version.
Sound puzzle:
The clue for the sequence can be found beyond the door with the pullchain, button and lever nearby. The clue for this combination is also in the Workshop, but if you are having trouble with it here is the combination:
button, chain, chain, lever, button, lever.
Plant hint:
You will need to find a certain item in order to get past the plant.

Hi there.
Every time I kill the last Zombie for Soulstealer Alela the game crashes. The smokey thing is outside the area I am in. I had already ran in and dug one zombie up and while I was kiting soulstealer died and dropped bones.
Edit:
I reloaded game before the fight and this time it went fine because the Soulstealer did not die before zombies and port outside and turn into a smokey wisp. I think perhaps the zombie ended up taking up the same tile and force killed the Soulstealer. Interestingly I am unable to recreate the issue but I can send you the save file for the battle right before I kill the last zombie and some smokey thing is outside door running around graveyard.

Thanks for the info. I never came across this issue while testing, but I know for sure the game will crash if Alela does not exist when one of her undead die. Its probably like you say, she probably got fragged somehow. I will look into it and see if I can improve the encounter.
The smokey wisp you refer to isn't actually part of the boss fight. The design behind it is new monsters will pop up at "random" locations after the bosses die. The one you saw just happened to appear near that area.
