THen yep you've guessed it. Back on my gaming pc. STEAM: New hardware found, pls send confirm code blablabalbalablab.
Hey now, I actually LOVE this feature. Because it's another form of protection to protect your account from hackers. They can't just crack your username and password, they also have to crack your email, email password, and get on your email and get the code. All without alerting you once, as then you'll instantly change all the passwords. This feature is awesome.

Now that isn't nice. No matter how much you hate it Steam is THE best platform for gaming, and the biggest leader towards digital gaming. GoG.com and other sites are copying from steam. So hate it, but don't hope they go broke and vanish, because then PC gaming will go to fuck.

PS. think of this. Without Steam, I bet LoG 1 wouldn't have sold even 1/3rd of what it has so far, and LoG 2 would have sold event less than LoG 1. Steam sells a LOT of games, a game on Steam, especially the front page, will sell more than if it's just on GoG, or their own site.

Hate it all you want, but don't wish it wasn't here because it helps the gaming industry. It works, even if a little 'bumpy'.
1: Well it does provide a nice security . But hi cellphone number sms or so will do right.

this is a pain:P

2: I agree steam helps all the new onces out there. But I really dislike the platform. Its no near friendly.

ps: If 1 can hack an email with confirm code, why even bother to have this security.. I could run a pentium 1 60 mhz with 8 mb EDO ram and steam ( after 1 hour loading) still says the hardware changed but a simple confirm of email will fix it.

So, the security is just a pain and completly useless. Afteral Email confirm is email confirm. Nothing to do with hardware.

Rather send an sms to a cellnumber that some 1 logge din on other hardware. Now that would make sense:)

There's another reason I don't like using Steam:
I'm still running Windows XP, but w/o an Internet connection, because I don't want to get haxored.
Steam requires an Internet connection, at least while you're installing a game.
