And a lot of people, like me, are still in the progress of trying out what one can do with the editor.
I have done some amazing things already with the editor, but still no complete levels, just trying stuff out.
So do not worry, things will come, and some of them will blow your mind ;)

I think part of the problem is that were so familiar with Grimock's mechanics and look that it's hard to capture that feeling from the first time playing.

There will be tons of new weapons and armor. And I am trying very hard to make new wallsets and monsters but that is what is taking a long time.

I have cool horror music for each floor and scary sounds through out. I have alot of secrets and there will be puzzles.

The floors are set up so you have to go everywhere to get all the keys and loot you can find to stay alive.

The stairs to the next floor usually have a door in front that requires a key that the boss lvl monster drops on death.

Floor 4 is a huge labyrinth with ogres everywhere and one of them has the key to proceed to the next lvl.

So It should be cool.

I wanna see a 666 level dungeon.

And yes, on level 666, all Hell breaks loose!

all Hell will break loose on my dungeon around floor 11. Floor 11 is called the Spirit Underground. Which means I need to make alot of non-material beings and we need a harm non material damage type.

well, that's sorta like what he's talking about NOT being very well balanced or fun to deal with, and I would have to agree personally, though I'm sure some players out there will have fun with that level.

I am trying to make each floor unique which can be very hard. The first 5 floors are done except for wallsets and new decorations that I may make later on.

I am also trying to make the floors difficult and complex but not too insane to figure out. I need new monsters to make it interesting instead of the same monsters over and over again.

Keep you eyes open for secrets.

and dont forget to scream now and again. there are plenty of screaming sound effects all over. I hoping to make players jump out of their seat now and again.

hahahahahah

Seriously, I probably logged about 10 hours just doing the layout of my single floor dungeon.

patience. Adding this 'Atmosphere' you speak of takes probably the most time of all things involved in level editing.
