I know exactly what you mean, I’m sure I’m going to catch a lot of flak for this post but at this point I’m sorry. I just don’t care. My feelings are that the devs have lost their fricking minds. There are entirely, and I use that word with emphasis that they have over used the puzzles in this game. I am sick and tired of every ficking level contain a fucking puzzle and not just one. At min I’ve encountered at least 4 to 5. I like a challenge but this is utterly ridiculous that there are so many puzzles in this game. If a user has to reload his game more than 10 times to get thru a puzzle then the devs have failed because the only thing that they have achieved is frustrating the user to the point of quitting.

If it’s not a pit trap with minimum timing that the pit stays open, it’s the controls when you are being rushed will frustrate and aggravate the person making it even more difficult. When you’re rushing to a pit that’s closed the pit then because of the bare minimal timing it stays closed will drop out from under you. Great Job Devs!! You win the asshole of the month awards for not properly testing the game to everyone else’s speed that you all seem to think everyone should have to be at. Also when you’re in a hurry the controls half the time will over shot your mark. Then it becomes a rinse and repeat system. Again failed!! I’m sick of the crap.

I’m at the point where I don’t even want to play this game anymore. As the poster has stated. 3 hrs and still can’t get past a puzzle. That ridiculous!!!!!!! The fun factor has lost its luster, go to next room, puzzle, try and Figure it out and spend lots of time sitting there figuring it out. Look on line see who might have solution. It goes on and on. I love DnD and a Hugh fan of it but this is utterly stupid.

Puzzles are good but not when it’s at the cost of enjoying the game. Sorry, but the devs have majorly failed in a big way, whoever told them that a game riddled with a ton of puzzles was the way to go then they don’t know what they’re talking about nor do they know how to make a game fun and not at the expense of a person pulling their hair out every ten minutes. Flame way at me all you want I really don’t give a shit. It’s how I feel if you all don’t like then too bad!!

Got it my very first try. Not hard at all.

It's ALSO not required to advance. It's just a secret. If it bothers you so much then skip it.

I don't think this game is for you.

Thousands of people are enjoying this game in every respect while a vocal minority of whiners are complaining about the excellent puzzles and how they're too hard. I'm tired of games getting dumbed down for you people. Go play Fable or something.

You sir, fail.

So if people enjoy gameplay that you, personally, don't enjoy they "don’t know what they’re talking about"? What arrogance. Hopefully you stop playing the game and leave these forums entirely with that attitude.

Hey, fuck you! I’ll be here just to aggravate you all. If you can’t understand that I’m NOT the only one that has issues with the timing of the pits and other aspects then you all Fail!!

How terribly mature of you.

You are part of a vocal minority (I've counted about 8 of you) that suck at the game and/or don't like puzzles and want the devs to cater to your whining and demands.

This game is not for you, and you certainly have NO right to call devs of a game this massively successful 'fail' or to say that those of us who enjoy this gameplay 'don't know what we're talking about'. Blowhard.

Oh, so you’re going to tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about? How pathetic and hypocritical is that of you and everyone else to even assume that I don’t know what I’m talking about. You have no clue what my background is or what I do for a living. What If I told you I myself was a dev and that we do not take such a harsh approach in our games at making them so riddled with puzzles nor do we set the timing of a pit trap to such a bare minimal setting that its utterly pathetic to even try and achieve winning?

No, you have no clue who I am or what I do, so let’s stop right here and keep your comments to yourself. if you can objectively comment to me where it even makes any sense then do so, otherwise zip it.

I'm not going to get drawn into an argument, but I think saying that the Dev's don't know what they're doing is a bit unfair. Puzzles and combat are just the type ingredients that go into a first-person dungeon crawler like this. Perhaps one of your characters is encumbered and is slowing the party down?
