I ve got problem with the floor, under a stair, which is put at an height of 4
this is some kind of tower, which leads to a level in the sky
I ve put a floor and some invisible platform on the top of the tower, then the stairs on it. But under the stairs, the floor tiles, (at the bottom of the tower), has disappeared.

actually, i had to put plants and dungeon floor to hide this, but personnaly, I think it's not very clean.

can this be avoided in the object definition?

Objects with StairsComponent will destroy heightmapped floor tiles below them. But you can simply add the floor back manually: just place the forest_ground_01 object on the two squares. (In Grimrock 2, every wall, floor tile, pillar, etc. is an object itself.) There is one important limitation on this, which is that those two tiles can't be heightmapped correctly, so you should make sure that all tiles adjacent to those two have the same height and don't have noise.

lol,

shame on me, I just import the forest ground from the asset under another name, because I sudently think "why is this in the asset, and why did I not see it in the editor?", and finally saw the 2 forest ground object in the object list in the editor :oops:

I don't know why I did not saw it yesterday! maybe it's the flu...

anyway, thanks for your help! :)
