Firearms - how to customize
Ok folks - I read almost all threads here and I think that if majority people agree on, is that firearms are just bad. I do not want complain, but opposite - I´d like your ideas about improvements, which could be used in new mods. I do not want some major changes in game system, because overall - I LIKE the guns. So what is the biggest weakness of firearms ? Lack of ammo ? small damage ? what you would like to improve and how Firearms skill should work in custom modes ?
Any comment welcomed.

Rank 1 - 5 should each give a 5% chance to recover ammo.
Maybe also give Incendiary ammo at rank 5 to set people on fire.

If you're selective with using the pellets you should have enough for the entire game. The ratlings that respawn in the sewers drop more pellets but I swapped a sword/shield in hand when pellets got low.

The power of firearms though is that a couple of them can attack VERY fast. i dont think they even need a damage boost tbh.
The revolver and the repeater attack so fast that the damage isnt that important ( would probably be very good with aggressive considering how fast they attack ) but there just isnt enough ammo to maintain it. So i think the way to go with firearms is giving a way to get more ammo or just increasing the amount of ammo. The cannon is actually perfectly fine as it is tbh.

I have never run out of ammo, but I agree there should be possibility to atleast make it through alchemy, or we can just increase number of ammo in our mods

Im just putting an assload of bullets in my mod.....and making a gatling gun...

Add lots more ammo than the main game or come up with some way to craft more.

I've got the pellet box with the dragon breath revolver
14 pellets
firearms skills = 3
won't fire, revolver still shows 0
