Hey guys
Love this game, just beat it and it's a improvement in pretty much every way over 1.
however I've noticed that every weapon class besides Heavy Weapons is somewhat sub-par
for example, there are multiple Heavy weapon "epics" (Bane, Meteor Hammer, Ancient Claymore) but there isn't a single Light, Missle, Throwing, firearm, or Staff epic (unless you count you know who's staff)
My party lead is a light weapon wielding knight and the best light weapon i found was the sickle sword; which was .2 faster than the meteor hammer, had 20 less accuracy, and had almost half as much damage on a 20str knight vs a 26 str fighter
anyone else feel the same? every other weapon class just didn't really get much love.
non-heavy weapons got gipped?

Light Weapons are about speed and low cooldowns, not damage. If you want to dish out good damage with them get Dodge 3, Bracelet of Tirin, Quick trait (Insectoids only) and of course: use a Dual Wielding setup!

but like i said in my post: the best (in terms of damage) light weapon in the game is .2 (4.3 vs 4.5) faster than the meteor hammer, with half the damage and no +20 accuracy.
Light is fine with a dual wield crit rouge but otherwise it is pretty much outclassed in every way.

The sickle sword might be the biggest light weapon but that does not mean it's the best. It's far too slow for my taste. A dual wielding dagger rogue deals 3 to 4 hits while a knight waits for his sickle's cooldown to expire.snarfalarkus wrote:but like i said in my post: the best (in terms of damage) light weapon in the game is .2 (4.3 vs 4.5) faster than the meteor hammer, with half the damage and no +20 accuracy.

yes thats true. Thats why I end with knight using dagger instead light / heavy weapons. kind of lame.Dr.Disaster wrote:The sickle sword might be the biggest light weapon but that does not mean it's the best.
