Ruins of Desarune - Item behind bars

Hey fellow Grimrockers.

At first: I used the forums search function, but did not find any helpful clue.

I am wandering around the Ruins of Desarune and have been almost everywhere on the map. However, there is one item (an axe as much as I can tell) behind a door with a gold lock. But I do not have a gold key. I know that there are more gold locks than gold keys in the game. Am I right that there is no gold key to be found in the Ruins of Desarune and I have to come back later with a key that I find outside the Ruins? Or did I miss the gold key in the Ruins?

Any help is greatly appreciated, since I strive for 100% completion.

Gold Keys are far less than the Golden Locks, so use them wisely.

I don't recall if there is any gold key in the ruin, but that's axe is simply unworthy.

By the time you come across Ax (heavy weapon, one-handed, 14-43 + Strength bonus, 4.2sec cooldown, 2.4kg, Special Attack: Flurry of Slashes) it beats everything you got handsdown although it got nerfed during Beta.
