Pyramid third floor

Hi guys!

On my second playthrough (hunting for the armor set achievements, I kinda left everything all over the place randomly the first time around) I ran into a room that I kinda skipped the first time

because the trip to the desert is one way only.

The room is the one

containing the meteor leg plates.

The room has projectile redirectors in each corner which aren't connected to any puzzle I've seen. I can shoot fireballs and whatnot into them and watch them fly around the room endlessly which is fun, but I'm wondering if anyone could give me a hint as to their purpose - this might just be my last missing secret

there's only one fireball. I just let it hit me. I think the only point of it is to get you nervous about looking for treasure.

but... there's another piece of treasure in that room aside from the leggings. look carefully on the ground in the corner.

also, you can go back up the pyramid from the bottom once you leave the desert. doesn't take very long.

Where exactly did you find the Meteor pants in this room? They are the last piece I am missing for that set.
