Steam and DRM

I can understand if an NDA prevents you from... disclosing exact release info, but can you tell us whether the game will be steam-exclusive/require steam to play or if there will be a non-DRM version available too?

Thank you! Against Valve's policies, I'm sharing an active Steam account with my brother, so I was quite worried. It is quite tricky to play games using one account at the same time with someone else (it's cheaper, though!)... This is such a relief!

Say, it is quite a common phenomenom for pricing to be different with publishers. Certain markets require certain prices. Are you going to have one price set in stone for all platforms and publishers, or will it vary?

You said it brother! Steam is just the most unoffensive form of DRM out there, but it is still DRM. It will be nice to have the option of giving my money via a different distributor.

The only games i've bought in the past year were steam games. It may be a form of DRM, but the convenience of never having disks again far outweighs it.

I have to say that I welcome Grimrock on Steam - it's just so annoying to have your games spread out on 3-4 different systems. Therefore I'd much prefer it be on a "big" system than on some small unknown one.

Also from their point of view of the developers - Steam gets the game out there - really out there for a lot of people to see and even though I think GOG would be perfect for Grimrock - I think Steam has more customers.
Maybe GOG later?

DMR sucks in the sense that it often is more of a burden to those who actually buy games that to those who do not.

I got no problem with Steam, but I'm glad other people will have their options of purchasing the game. Good call!
