Re: Help with Editor
You need to publish it to the workshop before your friend will be able to download it. Then they go to their Steam library and instead of playing the game click workshop and find your level by whatever name you chose.
Re: Help with Editor
Hi,
in the editor you need EXPORT that dungeon (File - Export) ans save the exported file in your dungeon folder (located in documents/almost Human/dungeons)
when you open in game custom dungeon you should see it and be able to play. If you want somebody else to play it, you need upload that exported file somewhere (as mentioned on steam, nexus etc...) and person who download it need copy it again under /dungeons folder.
Hope this helped

Re: Help with Editor
thanks alot for the help folks!
not sure why I didn't try to put in my dungeons folder though
though now I encounter another problem, which I think I know why, since in the normal map 'Grimrock' I never lag even at high settings, though when I play my own, it does lag alot, så first I though, 'hey, I might have put way to many monster on it', so I tried to delete some, though it didn't help.
so, I'm thinking, does the map load all monster from all levels at once, or just the monsters on the level the player is currently on?
thanks again folks!

Re: Help with Editor
All monsters everywhere. But the entire original game was this way too, so that's probably not the problem. Most likely you have too many lights going on.

that might be true, though I think I found a work around with using spawners everywhere instead of actual placed monsters, but I guess I have delete some lights..Komag wrote:All monsters everywhere. Thanks by the way!
Re: Help with Editor
Too many lightsources is highly likely to be the culprit, try not to have more than 2 or 3 lightsources anywhere. Also, make sure to have any timers you use set to deactivate themselves when they go off. They can ad up quickly, and get out of sync whenu change levels.
