Excellent work so far, really enjoying it
brings back alot of memories,i actually remembered a few of the secret walls and their locations from EOB2.

one request to consider please

a bit more food around the place would be good
im currently playing old school mode, thus it takes longer to map an area and move on
i am at lvl nine or so and my guys are starving, been so for a few levels already.

also,i found a dead adventurer bones that you can carry with you, which seems to have purpose.i remember rezzing the dead in EOB2 to gain 6 party members,i gather you cant have 6 members in grimrock?so what are the bones for?

I agree the mod is really good with all the references to EOB2.

I got also the lack of food. Knowing that starving party does less damage it makes the game even more difficult.

Again, I m not promoting the console but u can use the spawn command to get some food when starving too much or wait for the revised version of the mod.

I think I read somewhere that damage are reduced by half when u r starving...

As u say you r not aware of this, I checked the forum and :

I found a first reference here
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4427&hilit=food+half+damage

and here too
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4106&p=51645&hilit ... age#p51645

Maybe too be officially confirmed or it is part of log file of previous patches...

thanks for feedback. I will probably add some more food in next version, people should not starve :) Never tried old school mode, could be really interesting. Its quite understable you are starving with oldschool mode.
There is no way to have 6 members in Grimrock. My scripting knowledge blocked me from party characters switching when making this dungeon. Altough now I know ways, I will not change this. Which means all bone remains are totaly useless.

Hey Drakkan,
I have played this quite a ways through. It is 100% my preferred dungeon style [non linear].

But, if the DM expects players to be wandering around, then food should not be an issue, and due to starving, I had to bring up the console, which, I do not like doing.

My example would be, "I'll be evil, and hide an important key [2nd skull key] in a very unimportant location, very well "lost"

OK - I buy that - but.. I need food to spend that time searching the whole floor to find it. [3 times really].

But don't get me wrong - it's really good, it really is, a very good dungeon. I bet just more play-testing would have revealed such.

Great work man...
