Nope, it's a modified shaman staff. The boots are from nomad boots. The ornament is my own model and texture.

I think people are looking much more at the beholder in the background.

I made Yuleland

This is more of a tech demo trying out new ideas to make a bright day open outdoor environments, but with Christmas theme

I'm using Daniv's Northern dungeon Tileset as the base.
But I'm playing around with skyboxes (people that have played around with the quake and HL engine know what I mean)
I also made Pine Trees, Christmas Tree, Snow, Cristmas decorations that can by placed between pillars.
I modified the Northern Dungeon walls so I can make up to 4 levels off walls and pillars

I will clean up the dungeon folder and release the source for this tomorrow.(including all the models and everything you see along with the skyboxes)

there are some very nice tools included also, pillar-killer assets (when placed on walls take out the pillar an each side)
we also have the remove_wall (when placed on a wall will remove it from rendering)
and last but not least the ceiling removal asset, that takes away the tileset ceiling.

Skuggasveinn, you are... amazing. But still, I will not give in.

Take that, frozen lamps. Pillar placement light sources. The custom models are unfortunately light-sensitive, darkly shadowing on the lower regions. Still I think my modelling has gotten a little better. I'm adding them to my christmas pack, but not the statue it's to poorly recolored. I just made it to be a prop for the picture.

Both of those are so awesome fellas! And skuggs, you are the next step. When we take a leap forward in this genre, Skuggs will be the centerpiece. Always pushing the boundary. I'm (trying!) building HH3 right now, using the "corrupt" wallset in parts of it, and it just reminds me that, DAMN, you guys are good at this stuff. Great assets, now we need icons to go with the boots!

The hell with Dungeon Master or EOB, I think it's time to plan a Skyrim remake in Legend of Grimrock. :D

Seriously, Skuggasveinn, this is breathtaking.

Well skuggasvein, you've reshaped how people see the grimrock world(literally). Some would say that is a little much for a christmas mod competition. Well I guess I humbly...SMASH YOU WITH MY CHRISTMAS OGRE!

I call him candy Caine. There is a LOT more detail than the picture shows.
If some people find this out of the 'character' of my normal work, I am really in the christmas spirit.

Edit: oh yeah. Forgot to say it's in the same pack. I'm trying to make the ultimate christmas asset pack.http://grimrock.nexusmods.com/mods/151
