What is AlmostHuman doing now??

Post by Luj1 »

Ok been some time since the editor was finished. I agree this was the most important step after the initial game because it opens up endless possibilities for fan modding and custom content. We can see from the blog that now theyre working on Mac compatibility and (to a lesser extent) putting some finishing touches on the editor but I could be wrong. Seems to me like Petri is eager to do a new engine (from his recent posts).
So, guys, what are you doing now? What is your next project, after the editor. At least tell us which is closer, a new dungeon/expansion or a new game/engine?

Regards from an impatient RPG fan (Serbia) =)

It's too early to say anything specific, but I can say that while Petri has been doing Editor and Mac ports, the rest of the team hasn't been idling. There's are some really cool things happening in our monitors, mystical vistas, deep caverns and new terrifying creatures lingering in the shadows.

I dunno what that is on the monitor second to the left most, but it doesn't look quite like Grimrock, while looking totally like your style. :3

Have you noticed that the middle desk is much higher then the others? Why would anyone want his desk to be that high. Also note that there's a lot of space on both sides, as opposed to the side desks that look a bit cramped in comparison. I think I've know why.

Admit it, AH! You've just recruited an ogre!

And now I know how you did come up with your name in the first place! :)

I guess I have to step in here to stop the rumors that we have quit making video games and moved on to carpentry! It was here for hanging the aforementioned whiteboard on the wall, I swear! :)

(Although at one point, an online directory of Finnish companies listed our branch of business as felling trees :? )

I wasn't implying carpentry; I was implying you're into some REALLY hardcore gamedev..
