Misleading

Post by Colmad »

When I purchased Legend of Grimrock I thought I was getting a game with an editor to make my own maps etc the video's released on to the web were very misleading is there going to be a mass announcement email when the editor will finally be available? or do we have to keep checking on the site to see what and when you might release this?

I bought a game directly from Almost Human and there were no information about any editor. I've just checked and on GOG, Gamersgate and Steam there is no info about editor either. Why were you thinking there is editor for LoG?!!!

Plenty of the preview vids mention that there's going to be 3rd party content eventually.
Anyway, the editor is coming, so calm down, wait a few weeks(*).

Aye try back in a month or so. I suspect there will be an announcement on several sites that cover RPG news when it goes live. :)

Not me. A friend pointed me towards this blog; then I decided to purchase the game.
Afterwards I learned that there would be plans for an editor. And since then I look forward to getting that one as well - nearly no matter what and tbh without any hurry ... ;)

All the best!

What's really misleading is this thread title. I thought it was pretty laid out and clear, nearly every review mentions the editor will be coming later, the blog and preview videos are also fairly straight up...

I watched the development since last November, and bought on the first day it was available. I never assumed that the editor would ship with the game; it was never implied.... but I do think that it will be available to us all pretty soon.
