I canno't continue?

Hey guys, im on Level 9: Goromorg Temple 1 and There is No way through! I have gone through the III, II, I, III part, I I have flipped the switch on the right and left, the door opened, I grabbed the key and nothing has happened. I looked at a video walkthrough and it seemed that when the guy grabbed the key the walls on either side of it opened up. Have I missed somthing or is this a bug? I would put a picture up but due to my dual screens its not liked it. Any advice please? Its pissing me off. lol.

that you have to pick up ALL the items from ALL the alcoves. You have to check your map to backtrack and loot the other two as well, at which point all of the walls will raise.

So go back out of the III-II-I-III room, through the dragon rooms and pick up items? Im not sure I follow. Ive picked up all the items i feel I need, i dropped a load of gear in a corridoor too. What items/alcoves in particular?

in the center of the map where three paths meet there are three alcoves, clear them

The middle of the map is is the part im stuck on. the part with the switches on either side of the trap door. I dont see any other alcoves in the middle of the map?

I got to the end of the hall of pillars and found a metal door but it wont open?
