We WANT a map editor !

you could PM the devs and see what they have at the moment, as I think a map editor for this game will certainly add to the longevity of it. so it may help to get a map editor out sooner and leave the devs free to concentrate on more important matters

Well to develop a map editor I'd need to have access to a working copy of the game for testing. I've got my preorder in, but obviously I have two weeks to wait first. Not to mention that I've no idea of the file structure. Also, I don't really wanna spoil the experience of playing it.

I guess it's best just to wait for now.

Yeah, I probably will. I'll definitely ask for their permission before I start working on something. They may want to create it themselves however, and my editor couldn't be better than theirs.
