This is more of a Steam question if anyone happens to know:
If I buy two (or more) copies, can I activate them both on the same Steam account and then send one as a gift? Or is the only way to send someone a copy through Steam to give them the Steam key itself and have them input it?
I've spread the word of the pre-order on 4 other sites that I frequent - hopefully it will drum up more sales for you guys!
On a related note one person came along to purchase, but when they went in to use Amazon Checkout, it was prompting them to change their password, which they were a little iffy on - so they'll be back again.

No, I believe you would have to email them the key. The only way to gift it directly in Steam would be to purchase it on the Steam store itself.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?
I bought through Amazon and it went smooth, no issues like that.
make sure the person has "I'm a returning customer" selected, I'm not sure if you need to use the same email you give the devs and the one on the amazon payment site needs to match? but I never had a problem and I used amazon payment to pay on a few kickstarter games
my advice is, it could be a problem with the amazon account itself, get your friend to check that first, and use a strong password if one wasn't used before, (I use keypass to store passwords) also the person could try to back a kickstarter project, just to test, but I suspect its more of an account issue and that needs to be checked and double checked first
You guys definitely deserve to get rich! Not because you made such a great game, but to keep up your independent creativity and keep us entertained with more awesome games in the future!! Don´t even think about retirement, when the cash flows
