I finished the game, I discovered 32 secrets out of 42 and 4 treasures out of 6, levels visited 26 of 27, the group was acquitted and Armand Rouquiner went to prison (red hair, black clothes, mine book and fake letter). I put the 4 essences on their pedestals, the only thing I got was an experience bonus, is there anything else related to the essences? Supposedly there is a level that I have not visited.

Regarding the fight against the dragon there is a bug that is to let it corner you on one side and the dragon does not attack you and you can kill it easily, it happened to me the first two times I fought against it by chance, the third time I beat it normally just going around the sides and killing the smaller units, until they stop coming out, then you can kill it normally 1 vs 1. There is also a book that can instantly kill an enemy in front of you, I used it against the dragon but it didn't work.

Concerning the lindworm fight: Quite possible that this behaviour can happen. Not sure if I can avoid it.

That the Tome of Death doesn't work on the lindworm is intentional (even I have no idea anymore how I did it...)

You havn't missed a level - there are only 26 to visit (and I was sure, I did a fix that this wrong info isn't given to the player...)

From placing all four elements you get a 1000xp bonus (plus the bonusses you get from palcing a single element on the right pedestal). Not good?

Hello Thom,
I have returned to play this mod again after 7 years. It is as much fun as it was al those years ago when you baby sat me through the game. It is embarrassing to read my posts from back then. Interestingly, I've forgotten all of the solutions, even to puzzles I worked out myself at the time, and so it is like a new game to me. Thanks again for creating this, although Idon't know if you are still monitoring this board.

If you have, there are some changes that makes it indeed a new game... :D

Yes, I'm using the updated version. i have usually recognized the puzzles I have done before, but I have to get the solutions all over again. I sometimes think that you have changed things a bit, but I am never sure. Thanks again.

Wow, this is frustrating. I went through to the mines with some things skipped and then started again to get the ones that nagged at me. I know I passed the force field in lake Leech last time, but I can't get it now. I have bumped the ends of the short passages one square from the force field and heard the grunts over and over, but can't see anything on the walls to do anything to. What do i do?

We are still Talking about Lake Leech? You mentined soemething about mine, and that would be another level.

Anyway: To open the caves in the lake and to pass the blocking force door you have to operate the column in the middle of the village square...

Sorry, I was talking about two different things. I got up to the end of the mines, then started again to do sections that I had skipped. In lake Leech, I have looked in all of the passages on the main square and gone through the area with the tentacles, seen the chain in front of the underwater city, although I don't remember how to get down there. I am hoping that something inside the King's chamber will lead me on, but I can't get past the force field in front of that chamber. Does the column in the village square also open this? I have heard the grunts as I push into the short corridors next to the force field, but I can't find anything in either corridor that I can do anything to. It is this problem that I was asking about.

Ah - THAT force door. Well, it's right: you hear a sound when you enter the two corridors in front of it. But just if you step on a certain spot :!: And: You hear it on both sides :!:

hello Thom,
I've been exploring the tomb and seem to be near the end of it. I have just acquired the third eye and it took me back to the 9 lever problem. It tells me that one lever is also a secret button. I have tried all sorts of combinations but with no new receptor there, I really can't see what a second part to the problem might be. What am I trying to make the light spell do?
