Level 5 Can't Open Gate screencap inside

This is near the 2nd dragon statue. I've tried everything and seem to have cleared out the whole level.

The switch down the south hall will open it momentarily, hit the switch, and run.

Out of curiosity, there is also a blocked off section visible in the map I posted, top right corner. Is that really meant to be unreachable? Every other cave-in area I've found so far has an alternate path.

I've found no way around that. It's prolly just aesthetic.
