Re: On the quest to get all achievements on Steam...
And I did it, yes! That was absolutely brutal. Dismantler Vault and Fighter Challenge about wrecked me completely, as did any triple Gormorog fight. But I did it!

Re: On the quest to get all achievements on Steam...
Okay, after literally a year of not doing this... I'm doing it. Currently on the third floor. Debating on fighting the slimes or just continuing on without... Hard + Old School mode has been fairly brutal so far. My team is a minotaur fist fighter, a lizardman rogue (dodge), a lizardman rogue (assas...

Re: Preorders?
I rarely ever pre-order or buy games at launch... But Shadowrun Returns: Dragonfall and Legend of Grimrock 2 are ones that deserve early purchasing!

On the quest to get all achievements on Steam...
Just tonight I got all Valor Armor worn and the Full Plate one, bringing me to 38 out of 40 achievements unlocked. My last two to go are the hardest ones though... -Old School Mode -Hard Mode So I was thinking I would try and tackle both of these at the same time on a new playthrough. Just how crazy...

Re: For those that beat the game. Let's get some basic stats
1) 11 hours (however, I would often solve puzzles then go back and beat them quickly to keep my hunger level low, so it most definitely would have been several more hours on top of this... and I do mean several, especially with secret hunting... maybe 18 to 22?) 2) I think there were 2 puzzles that ...

Re: [MOD] - The Sunset Gate - RELEASED
About 2 hours in to this mod, been pretty interesting ride so far. I have... 5 skulls. On floor 5 currently, with two keys. Only the Life stone though. I feel like I'm going to be doing a lot of backtracking very shortly. Only 6 secrets found so far, but I did find the Alien idol at least. Cool mod,...

Re: [MOD] Eye of the Beholder: Waterdeep Sewers
I hope you'll change your mind thomson That's unlikely. I'm already primary developer of two software projects and I can't lead another one. On the other hand, Komag, now that you master quest is finshed, perhaps you have some time to spare? :) Yeah Komag, that would be awesome. :D :) I'd offer to ...

Re: Want to play older dungeon crawlers.Where to start?
That was interesting; thanks!
The one thing about Grimrock that took me a bit to get onto was that jumping into pits is a good idea, because in EOB it usually led to dying prematurely or taking lots of damage (never enough rings of feather fall).

Re: Want to play older dungeon crawlers.Where to start?
My first introduction to the series was Eye of the Beholder on SNES. I played the game a lot as a kid and got angry at it since I could never get past about floor 5 (where I would be eaten by spiders, consistently). But finally in college I managed to master the game. So when I saw Legend of Grimro...
