Re: Really? No auto-attack?
I didn't mean to offend you Kostas, sorry. I think you honestly do have a valid and reasonable point. I just used the "click to win game" example as a logical extreme. I didn't mean say that having an "all attack" was equivalent to that, but rather I just meant to illustrate tha...

Re: XCOM: Enemy Unknown demo on Steam
sometimes options are good, but they can compromise the integrity of the game if they force elements of "least common denominator" into the design process Yeah, it can be tough. One example for Apoc was brainsuckers that were easy in real time and deadly in turn based and that affected ea...

Re: Really? No auto-attack?
I guess there's just a slippery slope issue where at some point the player is presented "click here to beat the game". A balance is needed, and I personally feel that an all-attack option would depreciate the value of the Grimrock experience Now I remember why I left this forum: The const...

Re: Really? No auto-attack?
It wasn't very good, but it was better than EOB1 if they had been released at the same time/year. Naturally we expected more because of the age difference. but straight up comparison it's better (as far as I can recall). EOB1 was pretty limited in scope and resources. But all that doesn't mean the A...

No choice/option for turn based or real time like in Apocalypse is a step back.

Re: Really? No auto-attack?
Fanboyism aside, Eye of the Beholder 3 introduced an ALL ATTACK button. That can cut down mouse clicks a lot.

Re: Why is there No Quiver?
Quivers, good idea. Hmm, when you equip a bow, your other hand should turn into your quiver icon allowing you to select ammo from any slot in it. (you should also be able to open bags/pouches that you put in your hands and this would provide a thrower's quiver functionality in a way, maybe) Quivers ...

Re: Collective Suggestion Thread [Exp + Quiver + More to com
The XP system is not "bugged or flawed" I suggest you try this, I did just to negate all the bug/flaw crying here lately. Start a new game and at EVERY monster encounter make sure that EVERY party member gets in at least one strike. The new game I started I leveled every char at the exact...

Re: Bugs I've found so far
Casting an offensive spell while moving backwards will trigger it in the tile you're standing in, causing damage Seems as though your positions updates to the square behind you instantly, which means the spell is cast on the square you're currently on... but the character's hitbox doesn't change in...
