Re: 2x2 strafing undermines character building
While I agree mobs should have more options and chances to hit parties I do not agree with the OP about free attacks or locking down mobility as the way to improve combat. I flee just a better AI would fix some of the problems with combat as it stands without adding special status effects or free a...

Re: A possible, yet radical solution to easy modding
The markets for this kind of DLC with no new playable content are pretty small and I don't think they would keep us going for very long. A fully playable expansion with e.g. new monsters, a new dungeon and a new wallset, assets that can be used for modding too, would be a completely different thing...

Re: 2x2 strafing undermines character building
- Give some large monsters the ability to sweep attack across all 3 squares in front of them. Orges can already side swipe parties. And honest 3 squares in front would not change my style I tend to keep mobs at the diagonal from me and quickly slide over to attack then slide back around to their si...

Re: 2x2 strafing undermines character building
Yes, it is an issue and I have made similar suggestions in the expanded combat thread. Sweep attacks and status ailments that slow your party sound like the easiest options while tweaking weapon cooldown may be somewhat a more in depth change. Being able to strike diagonally would also mitigate the ...

Re: DLC
Day one dlc is a bugbear that has been lumbering around the courtyard for some time. Seeing as you folks at almost human don't seem to have anything lined up and there is not an entire hidden dungeon among the files we downloaded when we bought the game it is safe to say you need not worry about the...

Re: Expanding combat
Another note for the ranged combat of the game. Currently there does not feel like there is much distinction between missile and throwing weapons apart from throwing weapons simply being less effective overall. Considering bombs can be used by anyone to good effect rendering an exclusive benefit to ...

Re: [Spoilers] Last level not fun.
They also created those golems with 2 flails, that are actually pretty speedy and very massive, massive enough to very likely stop the cube from using his rolling mode of locomotion. I tested this, the cube kills the Wardens if it rolls over them. The cube's keepers attack you rather than it. It is...

Re: Questions and comments
So I'm a very slow player, being a new parent and all, I don't play as much as I used to. I also like to take my sweet time and explore everything before moving on. This brings me to halfway through level 9 so far. I know saying this won't make me the most popular person on this forum but I gather ...
