In order to output 5.1 sound from a digital output to a home theater system, as far as I know, requires a card with the Dolby Digital Live feature, which encodes computer (game) audio into a 5.1 stream in real time to be sent over the digital output. Found the problem, thanks guys. I had to enable Digital Output "Play Stereo Mix Using Digital Output" in the SPDIF/IO Tab of my Titanium Fatal1ty Pro Sound Card. Although Intro Music still plays from the front speakers, the in-game sounds are now coming from all the speakers.

I don't see an option to enable this. I have my system attached to a Samsung Blu-Ray Home Entertainment System and the game sound is only coming out of the front speakers. Is there already a patch to fix this?

What's funny is that Minecraft (a Java-based game) plays 5.1 Surround Sound perfectly.
