1)Official game time: 14:23, Steam time 22 hours.
2)Used Youtube puzzle solutions about four times.
3)Found 43 secrets, 3 treasures, 12 Toorum's notes, and opened 7 iron doors.

I remember that Yahtzee offered this Idea on Extra Punctuation (from Escapist Magazine, for those who don't know it).

Sounds like you want a very different game. Grimrock isn't the sort of game where you travel in a big world and meet characters and progress through a story. I thought they were invincible. At the first encounter with them I just quickly found the switch and teleported. Once another one was in my way I searched for a solution to this and found out about their shields taking damage.

It'll probably end up like most leaderboards. Hackers will make it show they have insane scores and all interest in it will be lost.

They don't respawn at normal. I made sure of that. I didn't like that part very much but I managed to get through it by luring them to a gate and closing it in the middle of the battle when I needed to. You get all of these in the Steam version too. They are in a folder called Extras, within the game's folder.

I prefer the automap. looking away from the screen to draw every few seconds breaks immersion for me.
