Re: Maps out of the "mapeditor" / Question about asset usage

Darklord wrote:Very interesting, I "think" these are ok, as they are effectively screenshots of the maps, which is fine.

These are quite spoilerific of course so I'll add the spoiler tag to your post. :)

Daniel.

Re: Maps out of the "mapeditor" / Question about asset usage

nah, those are from the mapeditor. It can be activated through the console which itself can be actived by black magic which is described in the thread here in this forum.

Re: Maps out of the "mapeditor" / Question about asset usage

Another thing I would like to do is extracting the whispers that you can barely hear between the ambient sound from level 1-4(?). If I could actually accomplish that, would it be then okay to make those extracted whispers alone public? I like to believe they are not just gibberish! :)

(SPOILER) Maps out of the "mapeditor" / Question

I made screenshots of the maps in the ingame mapeditor and posted them on my blarg. Is that okay or do you consider this a no go. They are just screenshots but I just want to be absolutely safe.

Totally forgot about this! Sorry

I changed the timing and it should work correctly now. Remeber to lower all graphic options in any case! Good Luck :)

Well I don't think that was a design choice :) It's unfortunate but I'm sure AH is on it and will have optimizations planned for the next patch (after today).

That is odd. Did you lower every graphic options to the lowest setting?

Re: If you just can't solve the timed puzzle on level 6...

The minipuzzle on the 3 tile island isn't timed or anything. You just have to raise a single platform which stays up permanently. All you need is on that "island". :)
