I wasn't rushing or anything and finished first time through in 11 hours on normal. Steam says 19 hours played, so that accounts for pauses, reloads, and a few hours with my first party that I wasn't happy with, so I rerolled new characters.

- Minimap: Not a cheat. It simulates the peripheral vision and spatial awareness of 4 party members. The limited Field of View provided by a monitor is not realistic.
- Move with map open: Should be enabled. Realistically, 1 of your 4 party members should be able to look at a map while walking.
The problem with mages isn't the casting system, it's their overall uselessness. Spells deal only about as much damage as the average dagger but cost ten or fifteen times as much energy to cast while cooling down about half as fast on top of their monopoly on your mouse. There just aren't many diff...
